Biographie

Miguel Hernandez is a highly accomplished educator and consultant with over 23 years of experience in project management. As Faculty Lecturer at HEC Montréal, he coordinates specialized programs in Project Management and teaches the following courses: Leadership, Risk Project Management, Agile Project Management, and Business Strategy.

An international trainer, Miguel has coached and mentored over 3,000 students across Canada, USA, Africa and Latin America. He is a Project Management Institute (PMI) Authorized Training Partner Instructor, holding prestigious certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, PSPO, PSM, ITIL.

Through his firm, Blooma Inc., he helps organizations navigate digital transformations, continuous improvement, project management governance, and business strategy. He focuses on the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence as a lever for transformation. His approach emphasizes alignment between AI, business strategy, risk management, and evolving governance models.

Miguel holds a master’s degree in project management from Polytechnique Montréal. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, he is recognized for his ability to lead diverse, multicultural groups in virtual, hybrid, and face-to-face environments.
